Who I Am and What I Do

I am who I am in part because of my type one diabetes. Diagnosed at an early age, I understood from young, the importance of maintaining good health. In my teens I started to practice yoga as a means of improving my well-being. Yoga was and remains today one of my passions. By 2004 I was a certified Forrest Yoga instructor. I opened the first yoga studio to conduct Forrest Yoga Classes in the Caribbean. My spirit however wanted to learn more energetic medicine. Today I am a Licensed Acupuncturist, Registered Massage Therapist and a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I specialize in musculo- skeletal dysfunction, stress management and pain. I am passionate about helping others using a combination of acupuncture, massage, yoga and Chinese herbs.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine good health equals balance. When the body is in balance disease can not exist within. How do you maintain balance? For myself balance comes when I make time for the important things in my life- my health, connecting with friends, family and nature, continuously seeking to improve on my work and of course my hobbies. I am essentially a seeker of healing. Every day I strive to both educate and heal my patients, empowering them to better health.
