Health-care Practices in Isolation: how to massage the feet

As of this writing Alberta has 97 confirmed cases of COVID-19. The majority of Albertans in alternative health-care are no longer working. Government has suggested we practice social distancing and isolation, in an effort to help control the growth of cases of COVID-19.

This is a great time to practice self-massage as a form of self-care!

Self-massage works similarly to regular massage, it can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of our nervous system responsible for rest. It increases circulation in the massaged tissues and the best part is- we can do it ourselves.

Here is a home video I made, a follow- along video that shows how to self- massage the feet.
